Anyone who knows me beyond the surface knows that I process life through words. When emotions feel too big, when lessons hit deep, when God is doing something in me—I write.
Since 2019, I’ve been quietly collecting these moments in the form of poems. Some written in deep joy, others in heavy grief. Some poured out in surrender, others in wrestling. I never set out to do anything with them—I was just writing to make sense of the things God was teaching me.
But recently, I found myself asking, God, what do You want me to do with this?
And as I looked through them all, I realized something.
There were exactly 30 poems. Not planned. Not intentional. Just… there.
And suddenly, it felt like an answer.
It was no coincidence that once I laid down my striving—my need to perform for worth—I finally felt a clear direction forward. For so long, I had been trying to figure it all out, pushing for purpose instead of resting in it. But sometimes, clarity isn’t something we fight for; it’s what comes when we surrender.
For years, many of you have encouraged me to do something with my writing, and I think it’s time. COMING SOON, I’ll be sharing a 30-day devotional built from these poems and the reflections they led me to.
It isn’t about having it all figured out. It’s about letting go of the weight we were never meant to carry and learning to rest in a God who whispers truth in the midst of our exhaustion.
My prayer is that these words don’t just tell my story, but that they stir something in yours. That in the midst of your own weary moments, you pause, exhale, and let the Gospel do what only it can—renew, restore, and remind you of the whispers of God that steady us when life feels unsteady.
So here’s to trusting the process, stepping into what God is doing, and sharing the whispers He has spoken to my own weary heart.
